Please respond to the following questions:
What type of speaker would you like and what topic(s) would you like them to address?
What topics are or will your students be studying regarding the speaker you are requesting? For example, are they reading, writing, and learning about historical events related to the speakers’ experiences? How knowledgeable about this history will your students be when the speaker visits?
What Facing History resources are you using with your students?
In-person speakers may require transportation. Will you be able to arrange and pay for transportation if necessary?
We encourage, when financially feasible, that schools offer speakers a $350-$400 honorarium. Can you cover the cost of an honorarium? If so, please indicate an amount.
